Group Announcements TSA this week Jan 11 - 12Wednesday, January 11th
Chapter Team Practice 3:45 - 5:00 Thursday, January 12th Basketball game/Concessions We need 2 parent volunteers to help at this Thursday's game from 4:00 - 6:30. If you are available, please email Wanda Walker at wanda.walker@knoxschools. org. We will also need parent volunteers for games on Monday, January 23rd and Monday, January 30th. TSA next week Jan 9 - 12Because of the basketball schedule next week, the only event that will meet is Chapter Team on Wednesday from 3:45 - 5:00.
Attention Parents: We have 4 basketball games in the month of January for which we need parent volunteers to work in the concession stand. Tuesday, January 10 Thursday, January 12 Monday, January 23 Monday, January 30 If you are available to help from 4:00 - 6:30 on any of the above dates, please email Wanda Walker at wanda.walker@knoxschools.org. We need 2 parents per game to help. The students have already signed up for shifts and should have written this on their December/January TSA calendar. Little Caesar's PickupJust a reminder. If you ordered Little Caesar's Products, they must be picked up tomorrow (Friday, Nov 18) afternoon from 3:45 - 4:15 in the cafeteria. If the truck is late and this time changes, we will have your child get in touch with you. Please be patient when you get here to pick up your order. We will have all of the orders sorted out in stacks throughout the cafeteria with your order form on top. When you pick up your order, you will be asked to check it and sign for it. If we are running a bit late, we will be asking you to wait until we have confirmed ALL orders before we begin checking them out.
TSA This Week November 15 - 17Open Lab/Event Times
Tuesday, November 15 Ag & Bio Structural Engineering Video Game Design Open Lab (All events are encouraged to come work in the tech lab and/or computer lab to work on events) Wednesday, November 16 Chapter Team (TSA Creed should be memorized) Tech Lab Open (Members are welcome to work on projects) Basketball season We need 2 parent volunteers to help out with each ball game. If you are available to work any of the November games, please email me and let me know. The time is from 4:15 - 6:30 Thursday, November 17 Monday, November 21 Monday, November 28 Little Caesar's Delivery Little Caesar's Kits will be delivered this Friday, November 18th. We should have them ready for pickup between 3:45 and 4:15. If it looks like it's going to be later than this, we will have your child call you. The packages come frozen and should be delivered to your "customers" as soon as possible. Please be on time. (Ms. Walker and I would like to go home :-) We don't have any freezer storage here at KMS. Please be sure you have made arrangements to pick your orders up on time. We will be sorting and distributing the products from the cafeteria. You are more than welcome to pull around to the back of the building to pick up your order. TSA This Week November 9 - 10Little Caesar's orders are due tomorrow (Wednesday) morning!
All products must be paid for at that time you order them. Please be sure your child's name is on the order form. Checks are to be made out to Karns Middle School with your child's initials in the "memo" line of the check. It would be helpful if all order were tallied. Orders must be in by 8:30am!

In order to be successful in events, TSA members will have to take advantage of these open lab opportunities. In other words - just because your event isn't "scheduled" to meet doesn't mean you don't need to be here. Members who are doing research, working in modules for Multimedia and Electrical Apps, or working on Structural Engineering should be planning to work after school this week during open lab opportunities.*****
November Calendars went home on Friday. Any TSA member who doesn't have a November Calendar needs to stop by the tech lab to pick one up.
